It is perhaps appropriate that Michael Forsyth, ex-Chairman of the Raving Monster Loonies (Conservative), had his seat here. This is truly a county that is schitzophrenic in it's application of diversity.

Containing wealthy enclaves and influential public schools at one end, and ex-mining villages where even brutalist photographers would find it hard to capture the grimness and purposelessness. From the beautiful foothills of the Ochils to scarred and barren post industrial netherlands.

You can tell that I haven't got too much to bitch about 'cos I'm filling in space. Hope it was prosaic enough. Estates aren't too much of an issue.
