The
home of the capital city.
There
are only 3 estates of any consequence, the Earl of Roseberry's at
Dalmeny (and affy nice it is too) is the largest at 11,000 acres.
Just
over 25% of Midlothian is in the hands of barely 20 estates. However,
it is the big three who dominate with the majority of the other
estates being small beer.
