INVERNESS

The largest county in Scotland, one of the long Glens and some of the best known Isles including Skye, Rum and Harris. Inverness-shire is blighted by neglect.

Almost 75% of the county is in private hands and 40% of the county is owned by less than 30 people. To put this into some context; the two biggest estates amount to a larger land mass than the whole of Midlothian.

The MSP is Fergus Ewing, FAE the SNP, although given his privileged background (Fettes), one can only surmise his attitudes .... get yer pens oot.
