The visitor centre presents you with the up-to-the minute facts and documented evidence together with an account of the area's historical and cultural background, documented evidence and photographs. There are up to date displays on scientific surveys, eye witness accounts and information about the Loch Ness Monster. Also available in various languages.

  • To get to the falls either walk up the hill, a lovely long winding road through farmland and forest or drive and park in the car park provided. You need to turn up the road by the Morning, Noon and Night store in Lewiston, keep going straight up the road don't follow the curve round and you will eventually see the sign for the falls.

  • High above Loch Ness, on the edge of the Caledonian tundra, The Clayworks nestles under an ancient fortress in wild birch and oak woodland. Here Rebekah Allan, the Highland potter, continues a long tradition of artisan pottery.
