Comprising the Byre for 2, Lochside for 4/5 and Holly Cottage for 5, Clashmore Holiday Cottages offer comfortable accommodation on the beautiful Stoer peninsula. For peace, quiet and just getting away from it all, Holly Cottage is ideal. This is the perfect area for walking, sea and loch fishing, beach-combing, geology, climbing, and bird-watching.

Clashmore Holiday Cootages are situated nine miles north of Lochinver within the North Assynt Estate, where there are numerous lochs available for fishing wild brown trout. Our three renovated croft cottages are situated on a working croft and are cosy and fully equipped, with linen and towels provided, sleeping from two to five. The cottages are beside Loch na Claise with a boat available to hire and it is only ten minutes walk to the sea. Enjoy also the beaches, mountains, walking, wildlife or fish for wild brown trout in the nearby lochs and peace in this beautiful part of the North-West Highlands of Scotland. Otherwise just relax in the peace and quiet of Assynt.

    After looking at the memorial we went down to Loch Assynt for a look, what a beautiful loch, especially in the sunset. There is fishing in the loch run by Assynt Angling Association but permits are required, they can be purchased at the Hotel.
