PARLIAMENTARY EMPLOYEE
SURVEY
An
in-house survey of 400 Scottish Parliament employees has found
that nearly a quarter planned to leave their jobs in the next
year and nearly one-third felt that they were not treated
with respect by MSP's. Nearly half felt that MSP's got preferential
treatment, with MSP's claiming nine pence per mile more than
workers for mileage allowance. Nearly one in five workers
at the Parliament said that they would be reluctant to admit
to working there.
