Scotland has a long history, some glorious (Bannockburn), some infamous (Glencoe) and some downright bloody tragic (most trips to Wembley or the World Cup). If there is a serious side to FirstFoot, then some of it will be in here.

The website will focus on some of the outstanding historical monuments of the region including hillforts, castles, ecclesiastical sites and houses.

  • The Celtic Visitor Centre is situated at Celtic Park, one of the biggest football stadiums in Europe, making it the perfect place to learn all about the colourful history and heritage of Celtic Football Club from its inception in 1888.

  • The National Library of Scotland is a reference library with world-class collections. NLS is also Scotland's largest library and one of the major research libraries in Europe.
