The Commercial Bar in Thurso is situated right at the edge of the town centre at the very bottom of Princes Street.

Recently refurbished throughout, this friendly bar is a must for a good night out. Just 200-300 metres from the camp site it is convenient for holiday makers as well!

Folk Nights and the occasional Ceilidh, makes this the place to be!

Dougie, the owner, can often be found behind the bar making everyone welcome.

If you ask, he will show you his collection of 118 Malt Whiskeys, probably the most extensive collection in the County! He may even sell you a glass!

The Commercial bar offers a range of bottled "Real Ales" in both the public and lounge areas.

The Public Bar also has a Large Screen Television so that you don't have to miss your favourite sports. Snacks are available all day.

Nearly every Wednesday you will find a host of local folk artists setting your feet tapping to traditional and not so traditional, folk music.
