Offering a traditional Sutherland welcome. Come and visit Helmsdale on your way North and to the Orkney Islands. We are just one and a half hours to the ferry points. Stay in our traditional Sutherland house, which has been beautifully renovated to serve as a modern home and bed and breakfast.

Each of the our comfortable rooms have a wonderful view out over the bay where you can watch the fishing boats go by on their way to the Harbour at Helmsdale. From here you will see a wonderful view of the sea at Helmsdale.

We are based at the edge of the village (walking distance) so are convenient for that after dinner stroll down to the Harbour or to visit one of the local hotels.

Children under 3 years are free, children over 3 years and under 12 years are half price. If you require a cot, please let us know and we will arrange if for you. If you have sports equipment that requires safe storage whilst you are here, we have a secure shed suitable for hanging wet gear and storing fishing rods, wet suits, golf clubs, etc. Parking is at the side of the house. We have a dog and so would prefer no pets.

Twin room:
Our twin room has comfortable single beds, a television, tea and coffee making facilities, a shaver point and wash-hand basin.


Double room:
Our comfortable double room has a television, tea and coffee making facilities, a wash-hand basin, a shaver point and fresh fluffy towels. The room has a wonderful view over the bay.


Dining Room:
Breakfast is served in the conservatory with its superb views of the Helmsdale bay. Enjoy your meal and watch the fishing boats return to the harbour after a hard day's work. Breakfast is served from 8am to 9:30am.
