| EDITORIAL
POLICY
FirstFoot is
a collective body of independent Scottish writers who contribute
articles on an irregular and unsolicited basis within a broad
range of topics. They receive no payment whatsoever for these.
By definition,
therefore, FirstFoot has no editor in chief other than its
contributors themselves. Accordingly, FirstFoot as a website
exercises no editorial control and trusts only that each writer
will adhere to their own standards of decency and common sense
and work within the parameters of law.
Articles deemed
to be offensive by the majority of the FirstFoot community
will, however, be removed if published at all. To date, this
has never proved to be necessary.
The opinions
and views put forward, like those of the FirstFoot public
discussion forum, are freely given and freely accepted in
the spirit of democratic free speech and do not necessarily
mirror the opinions or views of all parties involved in this
website.
There is no one
person behind FirstFoot. The Alternative voice of Scotland
talks in many accents and tongues.
We respect the right of our contributors
to privacy. All press-related or other enquiries therefore
should be directed to firstfoot.com in the first instance
and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into on
an individual named basis unless by the consent of the contributing
community.
