FirstFoot does not wish to enter
the domain of the Old Firm rivalry other than a passing reference
to the destructive nature of sectarianism. Oh, and while we are
banging that wee drum, let's get rid of denominational schools.
Indoctrinating children is plain bloody wrong.
OK, this didn't start as a rant but
is in danger of ending up as one. That's the problem with straying
into this territory.
Let's lighten the tone:
Last night Glasgow Rangers were playing
in the Uefa Cup against Dutch opposition. Footballers are highly
paid, brave, fearless men, playing a man's game, a contact sport,
where men are men and mindless violence is the accepted norm.
But, is this the truth, the whole truth
etc.?
The picture below shows a free kick
being taken and the Rangers defensive wall.
If the picture is blown up, look at
the bleeding state of Numan and De Boer. A couple of big girl's
blouses. De Boer in particular looks as if he has just pissed
himself with fright and is wringing his hands in desperation.

no Scots.
