BANG!! ….. Most of Scotland's people are dead.

If you see one of these in your wing mirror - it's probably carrying nuclear bombs.

With a population of less than 10% of the UK as a whole, Scotland has the dubious distinction of being home to 100% of the British nuclear bomb capability.

It shouldn't surprise many that the decision to site the UK's nuclear capability at the Trident submarine base in Faslane, 30 miles west of Glasgow, was taken by the Tories when they were in power. They have a long history of siting cushy well-paid jobs close to the seat of
power and anything that is vaguely dangerous, as far away as possible.

FirstFoot has no absolute understanding of the destructive power of the bombs but with a minimum of 6,000 kilotons of payload, it sounds big enough to be scary.

Since 1992 there have been dozens of convoys transporting bombs to Scotland by road, although this has received very little media attention.

If you see one of these in your wing mirror - ask yourself why you are driving on water in the first place

The convoys drive around the Edinburgh bypass and through the centre of Glasgow on the M8. Sometimes they travel past the site of the Battle of Bannockburn, under the foot of Stirling Castle and along the shore of Loch Lomond.

With nutters like George Bush and Al Quaeda around, it's a wee bit food for thought.

The question that FirstFoot has is "What is the Scottish Parliament doing about it?"
